I forgot to mention that in our trip to Washington
we made a trip to the world famous Tillamook
cheese factory. I now have a greater sense of
satisfaction when I pay 8 dollars for a brick of cheese
knowing that I'm funding a factory that doesn't even
show you how the cheese is made. (sarcasm) They
just show you how they pack and ship the cheese.
Kierstin says they use to show you how it was made
but I left a little cheated. I went into it thinking I would
get to see how it was made, like my younger years
when my family would make the trip out to the Napa,
ID cheese factory and you actually got to see it being
made and then you got to sample the amazing
squeaky cheese. (side note: Tillamook's squeaky
cheese taste is very competitive to the Napa, ID
squeaky cheese. It was always the highlight of the
trips.) The ice cream was good though.
