Kierstin, Will You Accept This Rose?

This was my Mother's Day rose. I liked it so much, that I had to take a picture of it and post it on our blog. Wes made me breakfast Sunday morning, and left this strawberry rose along some sliced mango, veggie omelet with cheese, whole grain toast, and potato wedges. It was all really good, of course.

Mom and Dad and the Brooks Come to Visit!!!

We had so much fun, as always, with Mom and Dad, Becky, Steve, Sydney, Steven, and Tori. We went to parks, swam at the clubhouse pool, swam and Mom and Dad's hotel pool, went to Funderland (perfect for kids 5 and under, by the Sac Zoo), Old Sac, and just enjoyed each other. Westin napped very little that week and it didn't show. He was in a great mood watching and playing with his cousins and Grandpa and Grandma. It was sad to see them go.
