Thanksgiving we were sick, but still had an awesome dinner thanks to Wes. Sunday we celebrated with Wes's dad-Mike, Whitney, Bruce, Aidan, and Izzy. No pics, though. Ooops. That's because I really dislike our camera. As you will notice, some pics are blurry, the lens is dirty, or they are just not great pics. Really, it's an operator error. I know, but I didn't have this many problems with out last camera!
Christmas we saw everyone. Wes's family and mine. We visited family and some friends before, during, and after Christmas. This meant we went from Lincoln to Eugene, OR, to Washougal, WA, and back in a short trip. It was worth it, as always. My Grandpa Kanooth passed away shortly after we got to see him for the last time. He made it just past his 88th birthday. It is hard to be sad, because he lived such a full and productive life. He was mobile up until just a couple weeks before his death. Most of all, he missed his wife (my grandma was such a sweet lady with a lot of spunk), and was ready to go and see her and his son, Leonard. I know he's happy to have moved on. We always enjoyed visiting him and ransacking the orchard. The blueberries were the best. He kept up his place until the end.

I love your family pic at the top of the page. You guys look great! I can't believe how old everyone's kids are getting. We are just getting old, aren't we? It'll be crazy when our kids start school and we are really the older generation... oh man!
