Wes took some vacation from his old job this week, so on Tuesday we went to Monterey. The weather was overcast and 60's, but we saw the sun here and there and Westin and Jade had a great time. We walked Cannery Row, went to the beach, and let them play in the Dennis the Menace Play Ground (no pictures of it, but it is HUGE).

Westin loved running around the beach and playing in the water. It was entertainment just watching him.

Jade had a good time too, but only let the water touch her feet a few times.
Whenever she hears or sees a plane in the sky she points and says, "Pane!" Westin used to do the same thing. It's always a good reminder that they notice just about everything.

We thought Westin would love the pirate, since he often pretends to be one, but he was a little scared.

I think Jades chubby feet are the only part of her that is chubby! SO cute!! Looks like fun! Wish I could come play!
