Grandpa Mulligan and Westin

Grandpa Mulligan brought Westin a train set a few weeks ago for Westin's birthday. He helped Westin set it up...as best he could, since Westin would tear it apart just as soon as Grandpa put it together. Westin had so much fun playing with his grandpa. It was a nice visit. Westin loves his grandpas, which is a good thing, because he is lucky enough to have 3! They are all so great to him and it's so fun to see Westin enjoy them all.

Wes, if you're reading this...

I regret to inform you that I ate your Snickers in the freezer. I'm really sorry. I tried to stay away from it, but it was only a matter of time. I think we both know that. It was there for like 3 days. Again...sorry!

Sleeping Like an Angel, Terrible 2's, & Stats

Westin is now 2! Wow, wow , WOW! He keeps us busy. It's a good thing he is so cute and that we love the heck out of him, because he sure gives us a run for our money EVERY DAY! He likes to push his limits and when it comes to setting boundaries, it is just not as easy as it sounds! He's coming along though and he is surprising us everyday with new things he is learning. He is now 26 lbs and 34 inches. I don't have birthday pics, because they are on the video camera and we haven't moved them to the computer yet. Really though, all we did for his birthday was make him some cupcakes, and let him blow out the candles. He loved that. He also got some cool gifts and money from GG and Papa Wayne, Grandma and Grandpa Kanooth, and Aunt Lairen, Aunt Becky and Uncle Steve, Aunt Andrea and Uncle Jeremy, and some fun drawings from cousins Lauren, Audrey, Rachael, and Thomas.
This little one is sleeping 8-9 hours at night STRAIGHT. She wakes or I wake her up about 630am and feed her for about 15-30 mins and then she sleeps for another 2 hours or so. It gives me great time to play with Westin and give him some time with me all to himself! I enjoy it just as much or more, really.

Just a Bunch of Pictures

This is Westin digging dirt, while Wes filled the planter to get it ready for our salsa garden.
It was so cute watching him, because he was almost falling in and out of the planter the whole time he is digging at the dirt with a pink shovel. He caught himself each time he almost fell in and just kept digging, not missing a beat.

Sister and brother power!

"Sick! Westin, do you see all that slobber you left on Mom and Dad's bed?!!"

Daddy and Jade, while I am on a kiddy ride with Westin. Embarrassing...not so much.

Westin, me, and Jade on the train.

The only ride Westin rode by himself. "Shish!" AKA: fish.

Westin enjoying the water and warm weather.
Thirsty.

I had a picture of him walking with his hands in his pockets, but it was really blurry. Too bad, it would have been so cute. This one is still, to me.

Wagon fun.

Too cheesy!!! This face reminds me of an SNL character.

It's All Coming Together

Jade was having jaundice issues, so we had to put her in the sun. We ended up having to put her on formula for 2 days to finally get rid of it.

Westin is very sweet with his sister and excited to have her...most of the time. Sometimes I fear for her life, or just an accidental injuring from her over excited brother, and have to keep a very close watch.

Cute, huh?! He gets very excited about ice cream, just like his dad.

Transition is not so bad this time! The first 2 weeeks were stressful, but since then it's been busy, but not bad. Wes is great and the kiddies are cute. You can't beat that combo. On top of that we have great family support from every angle!
